Amy's Dance

This was my first attempt at creating a fun 3D background. I have to say it was a lot of work, but the whole time I kept thinking, but this is so much fun. Which is what photography is supposed to be about (at least for me). The wind did wreck havoc on the butterflies and by the end of the shot I pretty much had one big knot of strings, but when I have a day to sit around, you can guess what I will be untangling, because you can bet this will not be the last time I use these butterflies.

Emily - Bridals

My dear friend Emily is moving, as a fond farewell I asked her if I could do her bridals. Is she getting married? No, but I am starting a wedding photography venue to add to my family photography and my partner Lisa and I needed some fresh images. What a sport Emily was, she was so great to work with. I am going to miss you Emily!!

Meet baby Kenzie

At 10 days old I got to meet the beautiful baby Kenzie. She is the 3rd child to join their family and the first girl. Mom is already having so much fun dressing her up and adorning her with bows. I really just wanted to hold and cuddle the baby, but we did get some pictures taken too.

Bradshaw Family

So I set up this whole shoot via the phone, and then funny thing when I got there, it's a family I knew. Our daughters have shared the same class at school for a few years. They were great to photograph, so photogenic. It was my first time at this spot and I was loving the rock background. I also loved the candid moments caught with mom and son.
