Emily - Bridals

My dear friend Emily is moving, as a fond farewell I asked her if I could do her bridals. Is she getting married? No, but I am starting a wedding photography venue to add to my family photography and my partner Lisa and I needed some fresh images. What a sport Emily was, she was so great to work with. I am going to miss you Emily!!

Meet baby Kenzie

At 10 days old I got to meet the beautiful baby Kenzie. She is the 3rd child to join their family and the first girl. Mom is already having so much fun dressing her up and adorning her with bows. I really just wanted to hold and cuddle the baby, but we did get some pictures taken too.

Bradshaw Family

So I set up this whole shoot via the phone, and then funny thing when I got there, it's a family I knew. Our daughters have shared the same class at school for a few years. They were great to photograph, so photogenic. It was my first time at this spot and I was loving the rock background. I also loved the candid moments caught with mom and son.

Meet baby Mason

Oh, so cute...I just love the newborns. I had a perfect pose in mind so the posing and hold till he falls asleep took longer then I originally thought, but it was worth it. His mom was so calm, and great to work with too.

Jessica + bun in oven

It's not everyday that you get to shoot people that are completely comfortable in front of a camera, but when you do, it's a photographers dream. You don't have to worry so much about posing, and you can concentrate on your camera, lighting, and art! I LOVED this shoot, not only do I LOVE this lady, it was so fun to do an URBAN setting, fun colors, lighting, etc. Can you tell I had a blast?

Barnard Family

Mom wanted to have a fall backdrop, and we are near the end of season, but I hope we achieved that. This shoot I was able to use my reflector to bounce some light onto the subjects, so that was a fun test, I think it turned out pretty good for the family.

Super Shoot - Duck Pond Park

My first Super Shoot. This is where clients come to me at a designated location and I shoot away! I had two clients at this location and then in the evening I shot at a different place, more photos to come, but I couldn't wait to share some from this first family.

DeWitt Children - It was a beautiful day, almost too beautiful to be dressed in winter attire, but these are their holiday photos. These girls were just beautiful, they were patient, funny and did great through the entire shoot. What a treat to spend the morning with them. Their mom had the greatest sense of style with the earmuffs and furry hats, I just loved it!
